FAQs

What are some common reasons for seeing me?

I am often called by families where there has been loss, hardship, anxiety, trouble with relationships or studies. I am also trained in helping youth with LGBTQIA issues. Some families want a consultation or a second opinion.

I have a special interest in helping patients handle the side effects of psychotropic medications and working with student-athletes juggling the demands of performance  and academics.

I have been using apps, video games, and virtual reality in my practice, and currently as serve on the editorial board of Games for Health Journal.

What can we expect at the first session?

After you have talked with the doctor or the office manager, we will set up a first appointment in West Boylston at 47 Prospect Street. Together, with parent/guardian present, we will begin to discuss your concerns and make a plan of care. Please bring along a list of medicines you have tried in the past, current custody papers or any prior reports written, such as neuropsychiatric records, for my review.

What is the cancellation policy?
